The Delegate of AHA Visited Beijing First Aid Center

On July 20, 2017, the delegation of Ms. Louise Morgan, director for global quality improvement of American Heart Association, visited Beijing First Aid Center.
Relevant principal of Emergency Office under the Commission introduced the status quo on rescue of acute myocardial infarction and its work condition. Liu Hongmei, deputy director of Beijing Rescue Center, introduced application of STMEI (ST segment elevation) rescue project in Beijing hospital medical first aid and improving condition on rescue of patients with chest pain from such aspects as rescue capacity building, green tunnel connection in front of and inside hospitals.
Ms. Louise Morgan showed consent to relevant work carried out in our city. She reviewed and shared experience on development of STEMI rescue project in the US. She indicated that with intensified cooperation in the future, they were intent to jointly improve rescue capacity for acute myocardial infarction in Beijing.
Then the delegation paid a visit to Beijing 120 guidance dispatch center to learn about medical first-aid service flow in front of the hospital on patients with chest pain. They came over to the first-aid medical training center to carry out on-spot observation of teaching by supervisors in American Heart Association.
Relevant principals form International Cooperation Office and Emergency Office under the Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning escorted the visit.
